An Intro to Brazil: Brazil is such a vast country it will be almost impossible to see everything in one trip. The best advise is to plan your trip based on what you want to see – as almost anything is possible to see in this awesome country. If it’s beaches you want – head for the North East. Rainforests – head for Manaus in the North. Wildlife – head for Campo Grande in the West. Awesome waterfalls – that’s Iguassu in the South East. One of the world’s most beautiful cities – head for Rio.
Remember – Brazil, like much of latin american, speaks little English. Unlike much of the rest of Latin America, Brazil speaks Portuguese. It’s always worth learning some choice phrases to get you by.
