The ngorongoro crater is a collapsed volcano in the heart of Tanzania, close to the Serengeti an part of a national wildlife part. The Crater is home to huge variety of animal and bird life including hundreds of thousands of wilderbeast, zebras, buffulo, flamingos, hippos, lions, giraffe, elephants and even a few rare rhinos.
We weren’t lucky enough to see a Rhino, but we did see many other fascinating animals in the ngorongoro crater. The highlight was two Lions mating!
