A very Happy New Year to everyone from sunny Brazil. But it hasn’t always been this way…sunny I mean. As you may have heard, NYE in Rio de Janeiro was very nearly a massive washout, with 3 days of torrential rain, flooding and landslides. Fortunately, the rain stopped about 4 in the afternoon on 31st – just in time for the late night partying on Copacabana to begin.
